While it was originally reported that Johnny Diamond died from severe head injuries sustained in a fall, doctors are now reporting that the DWA founder died of a heart attack while still in his wheelchair and had already passed before falling. According to Genevieve (Johnny's widow) the doctors came to that conclusion based on the way the body was laying, showing no sign of an attempt by Mr. Diamond - even an instinctive one - to brace himself from the fall. While Johnny's passing is still a devastating loss at least we can take comfort in the knowledge that he suffered no pain.

DWAFP is sad to report the passing of DWA founder Johnny Diamond. He apparently died of injuries sustained from a fall. He was found dead at his home by his wife at 11:10PM on Saturday February 11. Johnny was scheduled to record a shoot interview along with fellow wrestling legend "Beautiful" Bobby Harmon the next day. Although Mr. Diamond had been struggling with health issues for the past year his sudden death still came as a shock to all. We at DWAFP offer our condolences to Johnny's family and all to whom Johnny has brought joy and entertainment over the years. He will be missed.

Sean Bossman (a.k.a "The Boss" of Pro Wrestling) has been a great help to DWAFP finding pictures and videos of DWA events so that we may bring them to the many DWA fans at our Facebook page. DWAFP wishes to thank "The Boss" for all of his help.

Johnny Diamond continues to suffer health issues. According to Sean "The Boss" Bossman the DWA Founder was rushed to the Emergency room and spent the night in intensive care.

The Boss posted on his facebook that Mr. Diamond was, "... vomiting at night. Then he was unable to sit up on his own and she (Johnny's wife Genenieve) had to hold him up to keep him conscious. She called 911 where he was taken to the ER . While there Gen said he stopped responding and layed there with his eyes open staring into nothingness. She called for help and he was moved to the ICU where he was revived and put on a temporary pace maker. The doctors said that his heart had neerly stopped and that his potassium was "sky high". She said he had also contracted pneumonia again."

Dispite this scare, word has it that Johnny has vowed to return to the pro wrestling business. We at DWAFP wish him the best and a full recovery.

There has been much speculation that the DWA is once again up for sale. The rumor originally started when former DWA talent Sgt. (Chris) Ledbetter and Sean "The Boss" Bossman briefly mentioned the sale on the DWA Facebook. No other confirmation has been found to support or deny the rumor at this time. DWAFP continues to look into this story and will bring you further information as it becomes available.

The Dynamic Wrestling Alliance continues to suffer an unprecedented amount of talent loss.  Adding to the already shocking number of resignations yesterday was none other than "The Magnificent" Princeton Travis who announced his resignation via his personal facebook last night.

Of all the talent loss "P.T." was probably the most shocking of all. Not only has he been with the company from the very first show (probably the only wrestler to be on every show), not only was he for so long looked at as the golden boy for the promotion, but he was also one half of the reigning DWA Tag Team champions (with Shomari). This announcement comes just one week before the DWA's annual Hamilton County Fair shows.

As to why he chose to leave, P.T. mentions a theme that has become quite familiar with DWA talent as he expressed a frustration with DWA's incredibly infrequent schedule and states that he wants to wrestle more often. He will be missed my many. We at DWAFP thank Travis and wish him the best in all future endeavors.
