DWA ring announcer Al Monty announced via his personal facebook that he was leaving the promotion and retiring from ring announcing.
His sudden departure adds to the growing list of talent that the DWA has lost since the beginning of the year and has left many questioning the stability of the promotion.

According to inside sources Eric "The Million Dollar Marvel" Trice has been released from the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance. Upon checking the official DWA website I was able to confirm that his profile has been removed from the roster page.
Originally wrestling for the company as "Modu Zeppeta" the two time DWA Tag Team champion (with Princeton Travis) was one of the few remaining "DWA originals" - early talents who chose to stay with the company after the infamous split of 2009. No official word has been given for his release but Trice has often expressed frustration at the DWA's policy of not allowing their talents to work for other local promotions. Trice wrestled a match for Serious Attitude Wrestling (SAW) this past June.

source: Great Miami River Days website
According to the official GREAT MIAMI RIVER DAYS website the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance is scheduled to return to the festival September 11 & 12 from 4-6pm. The DWA held events there in 2008 and 2009.
It seems as though this announcement has been proven false. The schedule has been changed and the DWA is no longer mentioned.

Cameron King introduces the latest aquisition to "The Player's Club", the silent but deadly monster Nitro.
"The Marvel" Trice vs. Gideon: Gideon wins the match by pinfall
"Shady" Chris Xion vs. "The Virus" Parker James: Nitro interferes in the match and wins the match by pinning Parker James.
Shady & Nitro continue their assault on Virus until DWA Newcomer Gideon rushes out to the ring with a steel chair in hand coming to Virus' aid, Virus is then helped back to the DWA Lockerroom area by our DWA Referees, Shady immediately attacking Virus from behind to further add insult to injury before they are seperated by DWA Security.
Gideon then scolds Nitro for his cheap victory challenging him and his partner "Shady" Chris Xion to a tag team match later tonight against himself and Virus.
"Shady" Chris Xion & Nitro vs. Gideon & "The Virus" Parker James: Gideon wins the match by pinfall, Nitro and Gideon get into a huge fight with each other after the match, taking all of DWA Security and our DWA Referees to try and seperate these two men but to no success, several referees and DWA Security Officals being taken out with a steel chair by Nitro.

In our continuing coverage regarding the health of DWA founder Johnny diamond, reports are that he may have only a year to live. The former wrestler/manager who has founded multiple promotions including the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance and Northern Wrestling Federations reportedly has been given up on by doctors who feel that his condition is terminal. Johnny is said to be relying on the power of prayer in order to overcome his condition and fully expects to recover. We at DWAFP are praying for him.
Although Diamond has reportedly lost his ability to speak (or at least speak clearly depending on the reports) he still remains focused on the sport of pro wrestling and his desire to contribute in any way he can. This kind of dedication, even in the face of death, is why Johnny Diamond so well respected in the sport of pro wrestling.

According to the official DWA Facebook page Sean Bossman, known affectionately as "The Boss" of Pro Wrestling has been released from the company. No reason for this release has been given at this time.
Known for his over the top fan support of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (no one ever knew if this was legit or just his character) Bossman or "The Boss" has been with the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance since nearly the beginning making his debut only months after the company was founded. He always brought fun and intrest to any roll he would find himself in, be it as a ring announcer, commentator, interviewer, referee or even a janitor. His energetic persona and charismatic personality will be missed by this fan of the DWA.
The Boss can still be heard on his wrestling Hotline: 513-588-0320. We at DWAFP wish him the best in all future endeavors.

WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and former WWE Superstar "Cool" Carlito Colon are the latest in the ever growing list of Superstars to wrestle for the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance. They will make their DWA debuts on July 2 in Middletown, OH and then appear again the following night as the DWA makes its debut in Circleville, OH on July 3.
Independence Day weekend is the perfect time for "Hacksaw" to make his first DWA appearance. Well known for his patriotism, his chants of, "USA! USA!" and his battle cry of, "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he will no doubt be ready to defend and display the red, white and blue of the American flag on this most proud of holiday weekends.
Carlito is well known around the world. Son of the legendary Carlos Colon, Carlito has made a name for himself both in his home country of Puerto Rico and in the U.S.where he won the WWE Intercontinental title and the Unified World tag Team title with his brother Primo. With his prime years still ahead of him the young Carlito could prove to be a dominating force in the DWA.

DWA fans in Middletown, OH saw two new champions crowned at Mayday Mayhem Saturday.
The tournament for the DWA Internet Title proved to be very exciting as every match was hot and heavy. There were many former DWA title holders in the tournament from former Tag Team champion The Marvel Trice, to former Internet champion "Virus" Parker James, to former Heavyweight champion Vic the Bruiser. But in the end (albeit by underhanded means) it was "The International Superstar" Erico who emerged victorious to capture his first DWA championship pinning Vic in the finals.
But the big surprise of the night was the announcement by Princeton Travis that his Tag Team championship partner The S.I. had left the promotion. P.T. was permitted to choose a new partner and chose none other than the 6'8" 401 pound Congolese giant Shomari. Not a bad choice to say the least. They went on to retain the title via DQ later that night.

Long time DWA manager Col. Jonathan James, who announced his retirement over a month ago via podcast on his personal website, ended all speculation that he might return to the company with his "Big Announcement" blog on said website earlier this week.
There had been speculation that the retirement announcement was a"work" of some kind and the Colonel would soon be back in the DWA. While it is now clear that he will not be resurfacing within the DWA, there does seem to be an element of truth to the "work" factor as J.J. mentioned in his blog that he does wish to return to professional wrestling, but only on a small scale with local upstart promotions.
In a rare moment of class, the usually bescumbering manager showed no ill will toward the DWA or the talent within instead sighting a loss of confidence in his abilities, age, personal demons and the recent purchase of the DWA (by Las Vegas promoter Bill Brown) as factors for this decision, perhaps feeling that he was no longer up to the bigger schedule and greater exposure expected to come from the sale.
We at DWAFP would like to express our thanks to Colonel Jonathan James for the fun he brought us while in the Dynamic Wrestling Alliance and wish him the best in future endeavors. At this time there is no word on whether The Showcase and Shomari will be looking for a new manager.
